Drive Through Pantry

Individual/Family Volunteering
- Minimum volunteer age (all volunteers under 18 must have a release form signed by parent or guardian):
- 16/17 year olds-can volunteer solo
- 10-15 year olds-must volunteer with a parents or guardian
- All potential volunteers are screened through the National Sex Offenders database.
- Only come for volunteer slots you are signed up for. Sign up slots are limited, please do not bring more people than there are slots for. If you are not on the sign up, you will not be able to stay.
- Since we rely so much on our volunteers, we ask you to please give us notice if you will not be able to make a scheduled shift. Email Volunteer@UnionShelter.org or call the shelter at (980) 220-9493.
- Volunteers must be healthy when coming to volunteer. Take your temperature before you come. If you are running a temperature or don’t feel good, let us know and stay home.
- Volunteers must wear masks (we provide) during their volunteer slot.
- Volunteers need to fill out a one time Release Form, we have copies on site.

Our volunteer areas are:
- Pantry-help sort donations, put together food bags and bagged lunches
- Breakfast/Lunch/Supper-serve meals
- Pantry Distribution-distribute grocery bags on Tuesdays

Groups
- Provide a meal in our feeding program-Max 4 volunteers, click the link below for more info and to sign up.
- Volunteer in one of our drive-thru pantry distributions. You can see the number of slots available on each date and sign up for your group at the link below. Please make sure to sign up for the number of slots for people in your group and only bring that number of people.
