The 2023 holiday season is upon us! We are grateful that you are interested in helping to make the Christmas season magical for our shelter participants, both adults and children.

Holiday Donations

Holiday Shop – We collect donated toys and items to create a holiday shop where the Emergency Shelter’s parents, guardians, and caregivers can choose gifts for the children in their care. You can help support this one-of-a-kind holiday shop by donating new and unwrapped toys, books, games, clothes, and holiday goodies for children of all ages, from birth to 17 years old. 

Special teen requests include gift cards (apparel, shoes, and accessories), earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, perfume/cologne, and makeup palettes. 

Wrapping Station – After shopping at the Holiday Shop, we provide space and supplies for adults to prepare holiday gifts. Donations needed include tape, boxes, bows, and ribbons.

Stocking Ideas – We collect stockings to share with adult participants enrolled in the Emergency Shelter during the holiday season.

Holiday Events

Singing Christmas Tree – December 8, 2023 – Carolina Voices generously donates tickets to the Community Shelter to allow our participants to attend the Annual Signing Christmas Tree Sneak Preview.  You could financially support a restaurant dinner before the show. 

Holiday Shop Volunteers – December 15, 2023 – Volunteer opportunities include cookie or gingerbread house decorating, childcare, holiday shop assistants, wrap station helpers, set up and break down, etc. To volunteer at our Holiday Party, please click here
